Wearing the Blue and Gold
It is coming up to my fourth anniversary with Camida and I am delighted to be given the honour of editing the May 2023 Newsletter. After all, four years is a long time to keep a Cork person quiet!
Speaking of counties… I most definitely knew I had arrived in Tipperary back in 2019, when my children (now teenagers!) started to proudly wear Tipperary GAA jerseys around their hometown of Mallow. Thankfully they had not jumped ship, there was a genuine explanation!
Camida Ltd are very proud sponsors of the Tipperary Ladies Gaelic Football team. Supporting community and encouraging involvement in sport is at the core of Camida’s corporate values, something that resonates very strongly with all working within the organisation. It certainly developed and fostered a love of sport in my children, another thing which I am grateful to Camida for.
There is no doubt that working in Sales with Camida the last number of years has been exciting and rewarding. One of the most enjoyable aspects of my role is the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients across different industries, each with their own distinctive needs and requirements which we here in Camida are always happy to help with. With some noticeable exceptions (particularly old friends from my UCC days), I have realised that many of my customers are now, let’s say, a little younger than me. Though I think that’s a story for another newsletter!
But all jokes aside, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to our valued customers who place their trust in Camida to provide quality service and support.
Things have of course also been challenging. Internally in Camida we often refer to smoothing the “bumps in the supply chain” for our customers’ benefit. “Bumps” probably being an understatement when you consider recent and on-going events across the globe.
Into 2023, and looking forward the challenges and “bumps” continue to present themselves, and will no doubt continue to do so… with that in mind please be assured that Camida Ltd. are committed to helping you solve any problems you may encounter with viable solutions. Your satisfaction is our top priority.
Blue and gold jerseys and all, I would like to thank all my friends and colleagues in Camida, who have been so supportive of me both professionally and personally over the last number of years.
