Chemicals, Gaelic Games, and the UK. An unusual lineup on the face of it, but we are delighted to have brought these together with Camida’s new sponsorship of Lancashire GAA. Speaking of which, we, Gary and Chris, make up the UK Industrial team based out of our Manchester Office. Camida has been active in the UK chemical industry for more than 20 years and as part of our growth strategy we have significantly increased our business here. To accommodate this success, our Manchester Office has increased in size and headcount in recent years. With this growing presence in the UK, it was important to us to support the local community, and this sponsorship gives us success on and off the field.
For those who are unfamiliar, the GAA is the Gaelic Athletic Association, the organisation focussed on promoting indigenous Irish Gaelic Games such as Hurling and Gaelic Football. GAA has been built on deep-rooted community ties and is the ultimate in amateur sport, where players balance full time jobs with elite level training. It requires complete dedication, something we aspire to give our customers at Camida, as well as ourselves, as you see in the picture above! We might be the face of the UK Industrial team but, as in sport, we have a full dedicated team behind us that enables us to offer unrivalled service to our customers and suppliers.
